"I believe I can attain new horizons in my career. I know I can take your company to the highest possible level! My scholastic achievement at the Uttar Pradesh Technical University prepared me so I can meet all your greatest demands." Abhishek, a young Barahseni entrepreneur, firmly believed what he said at his job interview for employment as a Telecommunications Manager at a large company in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
Barahseni people, also known as Varshney, are well recognized as prestigious businessmen, bankers, prominent landowners, professionals and civil service workers who live primarily in Uttar Pradesh. They have taken their skills to several other parts of the world where many of them are financially very successful. They also are known to make generous contributions to charity.
There are almost no followers of Christ among these highly successful people.
Their Hindu heritage is connected to Akrura who is described as the commander in chief of the Varshney dynasty and a great devotee of Lord Krishna, an important Hindu god who is portrayed as youthful with supreme powers.
- Pray that God will bring committed believers to open the eyes and ears of the Barahseni people so that they can learn about the wisdom, truth, and love found in the person of Jesus Christ.
- Pray that they will desire to serve the true God who has given them many gifts.
