Other than a small portion of quotas reserved for self-nomination, the 9CCOWE is by and large an invitational event. Invitees would include pastoral workers, senior leaders of mission agencies, parachurch organizations and seminaries, as well as Christian leaders coming from various professional backgrounds. While many Chinese churches are facing the challenge of aging leadership with no prospective successors, we are hoping to invite more delegates from the emerging young generation, so that they will be able to get connected and learn from the established veteran leaders.
